This highly desirable Vintage Snake Bangle dates to the Art Deco period. It is gold filled with origins linked to Germany, featuring a hallmark underneath the snake's head reading 'AMERIKANER' meaning the same as "double", and this was a process of double plating an item in Gold.
Serpent jewellery became popular during the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign, coinciding with the full flowering of the Romantic Movement. Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship.
This piece would make a great addition to any collection or the perfect gift.

CONDITION
This sought-after snake serpent bangle remains in good vintage condition. The coil remains unstretched; however, there is a small bit of damage towards the tail end. Rest assured, this isn't really noticeable when worn and doesn't affect the structure of the bangle. Overall, it would make an excellent addition to your vintage jewellery collection and is perfect to wear with other bracelets, watches, or just on its own!

All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us.
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you.
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
