Antique Ruby Paste and Diamond 9ct Gold Crescent Moon Celestial Pendant
Antique Ruby Paste and Diamond 9ct Gold Crescent Moon Celestial Pendant
This beautiful Antique Crescent features Ruby Paste stones set with Diamond spacers, modelled in 9ct Yellow Gold.
This piece, originally a brooch that we have now converted, is fully hallmarked for Chester 1905 and dates to the Edwardian era.
Star and Moon images such as crescents became popular during the late 19th Century as an interest in astronomy grew. They were used in jewellery to symbolise guidance and to help lead you in the direction you are meant to go.
On the reverse, the stones are set in an open-back setting, allowing the light to shine and creating even more sparkle.
This highly collectable pendant would make a great addition to any collection.
