A charming antique Edwardian monkey brooch from the early 1900s depicting two playful monkeys encrusted with twinkling marcasite stones across the front. The bar is set with further marcasite stones on either side, with one of the monkeys perched on top and the second swinging freely from one hand at the bottom of a chain.

Unlike any other monkey brooch we have had before, the back of the monkey's back is fully enamelled - a charming feature!

The brooch is fashioned entirely in silver plate. It’s a delightful collector’s piece and is sure to put a smile on the face of anyone who looks upon it.
