This remarkable antique daisy flower necklace is a beautiful example of Victorian craftsmanship, featuring an array of clear old-cut Paste stones set in bezel settings with silver closed backs. The design draws inspiration from the daisy flower, symbolising innocence and purity, and is elegantly arranged in a classic riviere style.
The necklace showcases a series of beautifully cut Paste stones, each reflecting the skill of artisans who used this special hand-cut glass to replicate the brilliance of precious gemstones. Paste has been a favoured material since the 18th century, prized for its ability to capture the sparkle of diamonds at a fraction of the cost.
Secured with a safety clasp, this necklace remains a stunning testament to the elegance of its era. A truly exceptional piece, it would make an heirloom to treasure for generations.
