This quality Vintage Albert Chain features a T-bar drop with a double dog clip fastening, measuring 16.5" in length, and is modelled in Gold Plate.
An Albert chain is a decorative chain originally used to attach a pocket watch to the wearer's clothing. The chain was named after Prince Albert, who was said to have been fond of wearing watch chains. The Dog clip would have been used to attach the pocket watch, too, and the T-Bar would go through the buttonhole of a waistcoat to secure it in place.
Today, these are often worn as necklaces, and the clip can be used to hang a pendant around the neck.

This fantastic gold plate chain remains in excellent condition. The gold remains bright and has a rich 'yellow gold' appearance. The dog clips spring shut and the T-bar is in good condition.

All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us.
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you.
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
