This quality antique Victorian diamond buckle ring features two dainty old cut diamonds modelled in 18ct yellow gold, hallmarked for Chester in 1898.
Buckle rings were given in the Victorian era as a token of love or friendship. Belt and buckle motif jewellery symbolises that the giver and recipient are as well matched as a belt and its buckle. They also represented eternity, fidelity/loyalty, strength and protection.
This would make the perfect stacking ring or a great addition to any collection.

This quality buckle ring remains in excellent condition. The Diamonds are secure, and the buckle design's detailing is crisp. The hallmarks remain easy to read. Of course, being over 125 years old, light wear is in keeping with age, but there is no damage to note.

If you require ring sizing, please get in touch. Most of our rings can be sized. This usually takes 7 days. We charge a small fee of £30 for standard sizing. Sizing of 3 sizes or more may be subject to an additional cost.

All pieces may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
After the deposit is made, you then have 2-4 months to complete the outstanding balance at your own convenience without any pressure from us.
We usually ask items under £250 to be paid within 2 months and any items over £250 to be paid within 3-4 months. But this can be discussed to suit you.
If a layaway is cancelled, the deposit amount is non-refundable. You are only eligible for shop credit if a layaway item is returned.
