Antique Suffragette Peridot Pearl and Amethyst 9ct Gold Enamel Pendant
Antique Suffragette Peridot Pearl and Amethyst 9ct Gold Enamel Pendant
This breathtaking original antique peridot, pearl, and Amethyst pendant, modelled in 9ct gold, represents the suffragette movement.
This rare pendant displays seven peridots and a central amethyst made into a diamond formation raised up beautifully from the string cross gold work underneath. The pendant also features exquisite white enamel, a larger peridot teardrop, and four pearls are each cardinal point.
Suffragettes took to their jewellery to display their involvement in the movement, and it became instantly recognisable by the colours of Purple, White and Green. The Green represented hope, the White represented purity, and the Purple represented dignity.
The stones in this piece are of superb quality, adding colour and interest, making it a real conversation starter.
This rare quality piece would make a great gift or a superb addition to any collection.
